Why Commercial Roofs Are Different

A Commercial Roofing Contractor for Low-Slope & Metal Roofs

Commercial roofs carry rooftop equipment, drainage systems, penetrations and regular foot traffic that most residential roofs never see. Low-slope surfaces hold water longer, seams and flashings take constant thermal movement, and one failed detail can put tenants, inventory and operations at risk.

WW handles commercial roof installation, replacement and repair with that in mind. Every project starts with an inspection of the existing roof and the building-envelope components around it, so the recommendation is based on what's actually on your building.

The systems we actively install include closed-cell spray foam (SPF) roofing, our specialty, along with TPO roofing, commercial metal roofing and roof coating systems. Our crews also have experience inspecting, repairing and working with older systems such as EPDM, modified bitumen and built-up roofing.

The Right Recommendation

Repair, Coat or Replace?

Replacing a roof that only needs repairs wastes money. Repairing a roof that has reached the end of its service life just delays the inevitable. WW inspects first and explains which path makes the most sense for your building and why.

Because WW also handles roof coatings, spray foam roofing and building-envelope work, the recommendation isn't limited to a single product or trade.

Find Out What Your Roof Needs
A

Repair

When the roof is in serviceable condition and problems are localized: failed flashings, penetrations, seams, sealants or drainage issues. Commercial roof repair

B

Coat or Restore

When the underlying roof is a suitable candidate, a coating system or spray foam can extend service life after problem areas are corrected.

C

Replace

When deterioration, saturation or repeated failures make repairs a poor investment, WW plans a reroof or replacement around the building's operations.

FAQ

Commercial Roofing Questions

What commercial roof systems does WW install?

WW's specialty is closed-cell spray polyurethane foam (SPF) roofing. We also install TPO roofing, commercial metal roofing and roof coating systems. Our crews have experience inspecting, repairing and working with older systems such as EPDM, modified bitumen and built-up roofing. The right system depends on the building, the existing roof and how the building is used.

How do I know if my commercial roof needs repair or replacement?

It depends on how widespread the problems are. Localized issues at flashings, seams, penetrations or drainage can usually be repaired. Widespread deterioration, saturated insulation or repeated failures across the roof often make replacement the better investment. WW inspects and documents the roof first, then explains which option makes sense and why.

Can a new roof go over my existing commercial roof?

Sometimes. Depending on the condition of the existing roof, trapped moisture and the number of roof layers already in place, a recover with spray foam, a coating system or another roof system may be possible. Wet or deteriorated materials typically need to be removed first, and building code requirements apply. WW evaluates the existing roof before recommending a recover.

Can roofing work be scheduled around our building's operations?

Yes. Commercial buildings often stay occupied during roofing work. WW plans scope, sequencing and timing around tenants, equipment and operations, and discusses access and scheduling with you before work begins.

What areas does WW serve for commercial roofing?

WW works from its office and shop in Borger, TX and serves commercial properties across the Texas Panhandle and surrounding areas. We also pursue commercial projects in the Oklahoma Panhandle and eastern New Mexico. See our service area or call (806) 273-8555 to confirm availability for your location.
